Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine was raised and born within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam was Jazmine's mother. She was once a backing singer at Philadelphia International Records. When she was 5 years old, her father landed job as curator at City's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family relocated to the historical landmark. As a 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduates who is majoring in singing. Sullivan was a contralto singer for the children's choir and then just a few years later, she performed in the adults ' choir. He was exposed to secular music but was at first limited "I did solos in the church, and I was asked to be a part of a gospel label when I was 11 years old, but I wasn't ready to do that," she recalls. "Then when McDonald's had a competition for kids in major cities, I got a chance to perform 'Accept What God Gives' on Showtime in the Apollo and the audience loved it". In the year 13 she sang alongside Stevie Wonder for his grandson's birthday. Sullivan was signed initially to Jive Records at the age fifteen. She recorded the entire album but the album was never released. Sullivan was eventually dismissed on the labels. The singer maintained a relationship with Missy Elliott who wrote and recorded a number of the tracks for her debut project, including the buzz single "Backstabbers" that was written and produced by Timbaland and composed by Elliott.
